'Hello Digital, Goodbye Film'!

Yes, I’ve finally made the switch to digital, and to be perfectly honest, I have to say that this change has been more than justified. Towards the end of last year, I became the proud owner of a Nikon D700 digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera, and I haven’t looked back since! I am using this camera now all the time, and have retired, albeit with a certain amount of nostalgia, my trusty old Nikon F100 35mm SLR camera, which has been a constant companion over the last 5 years. There is no question whatsoever that the results I’m getting from the new camera, are every bit as good as the results I was getting from my old camera, but with all the additional advantages that shooting digitally gives the photographer. I’m very excited at the prospect of adding some of my digital images to my website Gallery, which I hope to do in the very near future – so watch this space!
